Lewis L. Long III is an independent filmmaker based outside of Washington, DC. Lewis is the Owner/CEO of the film production company, Lewis Entertainment Inc. (incorporated in 2005), which was created with the notion that advances in digital technology would contribute to the "closing of the gap" between big budget studio films and independent filmmakers.

Lewis Entertainment's mission is to provide film distributors with unique thrillers, suspense films and crime dramas that will reach a wide range of audiences across the national and international landscapes. Lewis Entertainment's films will not only provide quality entertainment, but will also feature diverse casts that will allow each individual audience member to personally identify with at least one of the characters.

An Alfred Hitchcock film buff since childhood, Lewis eagerly watched every Hitchcock film available. The result was Lewis' first full-length feature film released in March 2007, entitled, "EVIL DEEDS". On this film, Lewis served as Executive Producer, Director, Actor, Editor and Writer. This film is currently being distributed in the U.S. through the Internet Film Distributor IMOOVIE (imoovie.com). Lewis then eagerly embarked on his second project, the suspense thriller, "GOOD PEOPLE", which was completed at the end of 2008. Lewis again served as Executive Producer, Director, Editor and Co-Writer on this project. This film is currently being distributed by Rivercoast Film Distribution and is also available at Amazon.com.

Good People (2009)
Synopsis

Murder is in the news and on everyone's mind, but no one is doing anything to stop it. The police have failed to solve anything, despite eye-witnesses at several occurrences. People have all turned a blind eye, assuming it will never involve them. They have become so caught up in their own trials that they fail to see the threat approaching them until it is too late. Following the death of her husband in a car accident that left her injured, Misty Reynolds (Sharon Graves), struggles to recover both physically and emotionally from her situation, often using the bottle as a crutch. Her three grown step-children, Betsy (Rosie Sowa), Marge (Kelly Cardall), and Billy (Johnny Alonso), all provide their own individual strains and impediments to her recovery. Billy goes so far as to plant a spy in Misty's house in the guise of helper Sylvia (Tiffany Ariany).

Vague threats of Blackmail have even been made anonymously, leaving Misty to wonder who among the false smiles is out to get her and reveal her greatest secret. Misty is not without support though. Her close friend, Father Gary (Michael Russell), continues to check in on her and help focus her away from her depression. He's also taken to playing matchmaker, urging Deven (Josh Davidson), his sweet but simple-minded assistant at the church, to act more upon the feelings he obviously holds for Misty. As tragedy strikes Misty's family she and Deven begin to grow close, but can they stay alive long enough to find true love?
